Skate It, from Electronic Arts, is an upcoming skateboard game, which is due for UK release on November 21st, 2008 with an RRP on £39.99. If you head over to Amazon, however, it's available to preorder now for just £29.99.
Skate It is a spin off of the game Skate, which was released in 2007 and is based in the same fictional city of San Vanelona. In this game, the city has seen widespread evacuation, which will leave the player to skate freely around without the typical interruptions of urban life.
Although available on both the Nintendo DS and Wii, it's only the Wii version that will, of course, support the Wii Balance Board. And as another treat for Wii owners, it will support both 480p and widescreen format!
Skateboarding was widely suggested as one of the most compelling possible uses of the Wii Balance Board, and this game really looks like it won't disappoint. Check out this video to get a better idea of how it will all work:

Wii Music
Wii Music's release is not far away at all - you've only got until October 20th to wait! The RRP is £39.99, but if you nip over to Amazon you'll be able to preorder for just £29.99!
With Wii Music, you'll be able to simulate playing musical instruments, with the Wii Remote, Nunchuck and, of course, the Wii Balance Board.
You'll get to control a six member Mii band (controlling up to four players simultaneously if playing single player), so as you can imagine things will get quite hectic - you can even choose to control a complete orchestra! What's more, there's a whopping forty instruments for you to get to grips with, so it sounds as if there will never be a dull moment with Wii Music!
The Wii Balance Board comes into play when playing the drums, which you'll use for the pedals. So, although it seems the Wii Balance Board doesn't take centre stage in this game, I know that won't be putting me off!
For those who love the music accompanying Nintendo games, you're in for a treat: The Legend of Zelda Overlord Theme and the Super Mario Bros Theme are just two that will be familiar to you!
